If the electric fan capacitor uses 1.5UF or 2UF, it may be an AC fan, and this capacitor is the starting capacitor of the AC fan motor. If the power supply part is a resistor-capacitor step-down, it may be a capacitor used for step-down. Two capacitors are introduced separately.
1. If the resistance-capacitance step-down is used, then the capacitor should be a safety capacitor or a CBB capacitor. The capacitor will have a capacity and withstand voltage. Therefore, if the capacitor capacity is changed from 1.5UF to 2UF, the circuit performance will also be changed. There are changes. According to the empirical formula, the output load of a 1uF capacitor is generally about 50mA, while the current of 1.5uF is almost 75mA, which is still relatively large.
2. It may be the speed regulating capacitor of the motor. This capacitor has three fire protection levels: P0, P1, and P2. P0 is the lowest safety level, and this type of capacitor has no special failure; while the P1 type capacitor is fireproof or shockproof. It is not only fireproof and shockproof but also explosion-proof. However, the capacitance of this kind of capacitor is generally relatively large, and it may be a bit small at 1.5uF.
However, there is a big difference between 1.5 and 2, especially when adjusting the speed, you need a suitable capacitor, otherwise poor startup or other abnormal phenomena will occur.
