The 127th Online Canton Fair will be held online from June 15th to 24th. What about the first time that the Canton Fair will be moved to the “cloud” side? On June 10, the Ministry of Commerce held an online special news conference to introduce the 127th Canton Fair Relevant preparations. In this Canton Fair, 50 exhibition areas are set according to 16 categories of commodities, and the exhibition period is 10 days. Up to now, exhibitors have uploaded exhibits through pictures, videos, 3D and other formats to display the brand image in multiple forms and dimensions. All the exhibits will be displayed online during the same period from June 15 to 24, and will integrate online display, promotion, supply and purchase docking, online negotiation, etc. to form a one-stop all-weather online holding new model.
The 127th Online Canton Fair will also make full use of the Internet’s digitized precise positioning features to improve the efficiency of supply and procurement docking. The product supply information released by the exhibitors can be intelligently matched to the buyer group with high demand matching through the big data intelligent matching of the supply and demand panel, which facilitates the conclusion of the intention order and helps the exhibitors to effectively connect the buyers.
As China’s largest trade promotion platform, the Canton Fair has promoted economic and trade cooperation with countries along the “Belt and Road” and has become an important platform for smooth trade between China and the countries along the Belt and Road. The data shows that the proportion of buyers attending each session of the countries along the route has reached 45%, and it is on the rise; more than 8,000 companies from the countries and regions along the route have participated, which is the largest group of exhibitors at the import exhibition. As of now, the Foreign Trade Center has established partnerships with 130 business organizations in 73 countries and regions, including 53 business organizations in 34 countries along the “Belt and Road”. Products mainly involve electronics and home appliances, building materials and hardware, machinery and equipment, fabrics and home textiles, household items, food and beverage exhibition area.
